Hearty Meal for Rs 9: Uttar Pradesh Launches ‘Maa Ki Rasoi’As part of its preparations for Mahakumbh 2025, the Uttar Pradesh government has introduced ‘Maa Ki Rasoi,’ a state-of-the-art, air-conditioned community kitchen.The facility, which was inaugurated by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, aims to provide affordable and hygienic meals to those in need.
During the launch, the Chief Minister personally served food to attendees, marking the beginning of this noble initiative.
Located within the premises of Swaroop Rani Nehru Hospital and spread across 2,000 square feet, the kitchen has seating arrangements for up to 150 people at a time.
Operated by Nandi Sewa Sansthan, it is specifically designed to support individuals from economically disadvantaged backgrounds.
For just Rs 9, visitors can enjoy a complete meal consisting of dal, four rotis, vegetables, rice, salad, and a dessert. According to the Nandi Sewa Sansthan, this initiative will particularly benefit those accompanying patients at the hospital, providing them with a nutritious and affordable dining option.
