Akshay Kumar Returns in Stree 3: Official Confirmation Sparks Excitement

The announcement of Stree 3 releasing on August 13, 2027, has generated a wave of anticipation among fans. The mystery surrounding Akshay Kumar’s character, who made a cameo appearance in Stree 2 on a wheelchair, has fueled speculations. With the previous installment ending on an abrupt note, viewers are eager to see how his role unfolds in the sequel.

Producer Dinesh Vijan Confirms Akshay’s Role in Stree 3

During the trailer launch of Akshay Kumar’s upcoming movie Sky Force, the actor playfully referred to his collaboration with producer Dinesh Vijan as “dedh” (one and a half), hinting at a deeper connection to the Maddock Horror-Comedy Universe. When asked about his involvement in Stree 3, Akshay left the decision to producer Dinesh Vijan and director Amar Kaushik, saying, “It’s up to them to decide. They are the ones funding the project.”

Dinesh Vijan, however, ended the suspense, confirming that Akshay Kumar will play a crucial role in the film. Describing Akshay as the franchise’s central figure, he stated, “He’s absolutely part of the universe—our very own Thanos.” This confirmation has only heightened the excitement surrounding the highly anticipated film.

Akshay Kumar in Sky Force

Before returning to the Stree universe, Akshay Kumar is set to enthrall audiences with Sky Force, a high-octane war drama. Directed by Abhishek Anil Kapur and Sandeep Kewlani, the film features Sara Ali Khan, Nimrat Kaur, and newcomer Veer Pahariya alongside Akshay.
